Leg Assembly:
Step 76: Prepare lapis, white opal and black jade pieces by grinding one side flat on each piece. Then grind the opposing side of each piece flat and parallel to the first side. Epoxy one flat side of the lapis to one flat side of the opal. Epoxy one flat side of the black jade to the other flat side of the white opal.

Step 77: Draw a pencil line down the center of the leg assembly perpendicular to the bond joints. Saw into two pieces along this line. Flatten each of the just sawn edges at the grinder.

Step 79: Trim away most of the excess prystene material. Grind the trimmed prystene edge flat and to a thickness of approx. .020" for the space between the leg units. Epoxy the prystene surface just ground to the flat side of the other leg unit.

Step 80: Square up the top of the lapis pants edge at the grinder. Epoxy the leg unit to the bottom of the jacket making sure the prystene line is centered on the lapis triangle of the bottom jacket assembly.

Step 81: Grind the top surface of the assembly smooth so that you can make layout pencil lines. Measure an equal distance on both sides of the center seam at the shoulder and make a pencil mark. Now, measure on both sides of the prystene line at the bottom of the boots and make a pencil mark. Next, connect the top and bottom pencil marks on both sides and draw a line.

Step 82: Trim away the excess material on each side of the body, leaving the pencil lines as a guide for grinding.
