was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 1, 1939. His family moved to Long
Beach, California where he attended Woodrow Wilson High School and Long
Beach Community College. After a stint in the Navy from 1957 1960,
he got married and had three children, all daughters. He worked several
years with North American Rockwell, then Aerojet Ordnance for over twenty-eight
years. He went from an Inspector to Senior Quality Engineer. He moved to
Leisure World in 1995 where he resumed his livelong interest in rocks and
minerals by taking lapidary classes. He retired in 1999.
