born on July 6, 1928 in Frankfurt, Germany. In 1938, his family moved to
Davao, Mindanao in the Philippines. He was graduated from Davao High School.
In 1948, he moved to San Francisco where he enrolled in Samuel Gompers Trade
School. After finishing school, he worked as a Tool & Die Maker for
the American Can Company. In 1957, he moved to Redwood City. He retired
in 1983 and he and his wife moved to Arizona where they lived for seven
