was born in Buffalo, New York on October 28, 1922. He attended Lafayette
High School in Buffalo and went on to graduate in 1947 from the Rochester
Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He got
married in 1948 and had four children, three boys and one girl. He moved
to Houston, Texas, where he ran his own business in the restaurant equipment
industry for seven years. He then moved again and owned his own businesses
in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Louisville, and Boston.

1985 he retired and moved to Leisure World in California. In 1991, he began
to work in lapidary and created two commessi (intarsias). He also creates
soft stone sculptures in alabaster and marble.
