was born on June 18, 1920 in Brooklyn New York. In 1940, he joined the Air
Force and served through WWII. He graduated from NYU and later went to the
Philadelphia Textile Institute where he graduated at the head of his class.
He had a career as a Textile Engineer and avocations as a private pilot,
an excellent writer, as well as a fine woodworker. After he retired, he
moved to Leisure World in California where he took up oil painting and lapidary.
He completed this commesso (intarsia) under the tutelage of Russ Hind. David
passed away in February of 1987.
